Fokker S.III was a two -seater biplane with relatively thick wings profiles. It was powered by the Mercedes engine, it was established and flew in 1923. The exhaust of the Mercedes engine, which looks like a chimney, and sometimes also blows smoke rings when the engine runs slowly. Two got to Denmark. One aircraft came to the USA where the Wrilwind engine got. They served from 1924 to 1938, when they were replaced by other types (S-9).
